Thirty percent of Votes received at Tabulation Center
On Tuesday, October 27 or two days after the election, the Tabulation center has received 30% of the Proces-verbal.
International Observers Monitor Vote Counting. Haitians will have to wait until the end of November to find out the final results of October 25th Voting Day. Only the CEP can issue the tabulated results.
Although the election ran relatively smoothly there exists a chance that fraudulent ballots could slip past the vote counters. The ballots are transported under the protection of UN peacekeepers to a Port-au-Prince warehouse.
Organization of American States is overseeing the vote-counting process around the clock.
