Patrice Dumont, well known sports columnist in Haiti and Senator Senator for the Department of the West, on the occasion of the renewal of one-third of the Senate. He was born on October 22, 1958 in Léogâne. Dumond has been a major sport journalist for the past 25 years. In addition, he is a teacher, Football Coach, Physical Education and Sports Teacher. He started his sport career in the autumn of 1986 at the National Television of Haiti (TNH) as a football commentator. He later moved to Radio Ibo. He would write sometime in the newspaper Le Matin. Once in a while, he would write articles on political news.
