Haiti Twelve Candidates In Press Conference

Here is a first in Haitian politic. Twelve of the 18 candidates in the Haiti 2010 presidential election get together to demand the cancellation of the election. They alleged that the election had massive frauds. Some of the candidates participating in the Press conference include Mirlande Manigat, Michel Martelly, Jacques-Edouard Alexis and others. In a joint statement, the candidates denounced the efforts of the actual government of Rene Preval and the Provisional Electoral Council CEP for manipulating the votes on election day. In the Press conference, the candidates demanded the annulations of the election, saying the Haitian government was trying to kidnap the election
