When Henry turned 26, he started playing guitar. Jean Gesner Henry has a weakness for the Haitian twoubadou style of music. This style is originated from Cuba with the cane cutters. His famous nickname Coupe Cloue actually is not associated with anything sexual as many would think. As a result of his career in soccer, Jean Gesner Henry's fans gave him the name "coupe" meanings "cut", and "cloue", "nail".
