Gracia Delva (born June 9, 1972) is a winning candidate with 61.06% votes for Deputy from Marchand Dessalines (Artibonite) under Haitian Tet Kale (PHTK) banner in the August 9, 2015 election. He is a singer, Konpa maestro, actor, former MP. He is better known by his stage name as singer Gracia Delva Marchand-Dessalines. Gracia started his music career with 'GEROSTAR' but that dissolved after one performance. Thereafter, he joined 'DJAKOUT MIZIK' in 1992 where he made many successful and memorable performances. His 'Mass Konpa' (Pèp the Jazz) is among the top 10 most powerful groups of compass. His FONGARD foundation pays tuition fees for 1350 families. He has helped plantation of 4,000 seedlings in the mountains near Marchand Dessalines. He was an elected MP for Marchand Dessalines in 2011 with 67% vote. Don Kato or Antonio Cheramy (born on November 28, 1974, in Cite Lescot, Cape Haitien) is the well known lead singer of Brothers Posse. His father was well known Haitian chanteuse Simone Jean. Don Kato is a gifted and hard working singer who can sing in varieties of styles. He is an elected Senator with 64.40% votes, from the West Department under VERITE banner. On becoming a Senator, he has promised he won't cut his hair; maintain a dreadlock till he can remove the misery of common Haitians.
