Minister Ralph Theano Kicked out of the Lower House - LIVE VIDEO

The Minister charged to manage relations between the Parliament and Executive, Ralph Theano was kicked out of the Haitian Lagislative Chamber this week.

Minister Ralph Theano, who has the job of smoothing relations between the Executive and the Legislative branches of government did everything but his job to ease tension between members of the Lower House and the office of the Haiti Prime Minister.

The minister was finally ordered to leave the Chamber by President Jean Tholbert Alexis, after a half hour of heated altercation.

Minister Ralph on his part stated that the security agents did not take him out of the Haitian Parliament and that he voluntarily left. He insisted that if the Lower House is not satisfied with his performance, they should have called an interpellation hearing and possibly dismissed him as a minister.

Prime minister Laurent Lamoth criticised the behaviors of the Haitian Deputies for preventing Minister Ralph Theano from participating in the session.
