If you believe the opposition, you will think so. According to Senator Francois Anick Joseph and with the support of many of his collegues, The current government just formed by Primer Minister Laurent Lamothe is inconstitutional and does not exist.

They are saying that there is no government in the country. Why?

Moise Jean Charles cancelled all trips to block amended electoral law

The only way to have an electoral law for the next election in Haiti is to go over the body of Senator Moise Jean Charles. The Senator of North has made public his decision not to vote on the amended electoral law. Senator Moïse Jean-Charles, one of the leading opponents of the government of Michel Martelly has made it clear that he intends to block the pending amendments making its round in the Haitian Senate. Haiti Government Shake-Up, Some of the big Winners

While many will have to find new careers as a result of this new Government Shake-up in Haiti, we have been able to notice some big winners as well. Among the winners are Duly Brutus, Reginald Delva, Nesmy Manigat, Rudy Heriveaux, Lener Renauld, Joseph Patrick Sully, Monique Rosann, and Himler Rebu.

Duly Brutus who has been Ambassador of Haiti to the Organization of American States (OAS) replaced Pierre Richard Casimir by becoming Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship. more »

New Chief Prosecutor of Port-au-Prince, Me Rene Francisco announced the end and respect for authority

The new Chief Prosecutor of Port-au-Prince means business. Me René Francisco who was installed just one two days ago announced the end of "recreation" and "radio theater" by the people. He wants to create more discipline in the Haitian Media

According to Me René Francisco "The recess is over, the radio drama is over". From now on, there is no question of treating the authorities.

Legislative violence as fist fight broke in Haitian Parliament - Goumen Nan Paleman

A fist fight between members of the Haitian Parliament interrupted a session of the House on August 7, 2013. During a heated discussion some Deputies decided to get at each other and Some physical contact was exchanged in the incident that occurred. It's still unclear just what, exactly, the fight was about.
