Mathias, a candidate from the political party Konsyans Patriyotik, made his decision public on Monday, October 19, 2015, and has told his supporters to move to Moise Jean Charles' camp. To clarify his stand, he has stated that he is fearing an electoral coup d'état on October 25, orchestrated by the outgoing President Martelly. In an attempt to remain in power, President Martelly can do anything to make his representative Jovenel Moses wins. Moreover, some candidates have used dirty money in the election campaign.
