Haitians must prepare themselves for a new Prime Minister as the President, Michel Martelly, has said he will accept the recommendations made by the commission he set up to figure out a way forward for the country in light of the continued delay of the legislative elections that have left the country on tenterhooks. Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe, according to the president, is willing to sacrifice his post for the sake of the country. Also being asked to resign is the president of the Supreme Court, and various Provisional Electoral Council members. These recommendations, along with the answer to the demand by protesters recently for the release of certain political prisoners will also be met, according to President Martelly.
