After the fall of the Duvalier regime, Manno Charlemagne returned to Haiti and continued his fight for political change through his music. He formed a live band called the "Koral Konbit Kafou" which maintained traditional Haitian music and sound with the help of a group of Voodoo drummers and Charlemagne's song lyrics on the struggles of Haitian during that time.
