Haiti the Beautiful, a Place yet to be discovered

Haiti the Beautiful, a Place yet to be discovered

With the number of tourists visiting the Caribbean isles each year at 21 and a half million, a number which increases, through the effort of each country's tourism plans, by 4% each year, Haiti's plan to help revive its economy, with a focus on revamping and reinvigorating its own tourism brand is a sound one.

With a tagline that's almost a dare, and the showcase on the untapped, still mostly wild beauty of the country, many foreigners should no doubt come to 'experience it!'

A plus for the country's hopes where tourism is concerned is from the huge Diaspora, living across the globe, wishing to visit Haiti. The inevitable nostalgia, mixed with the new, delightful experiences to be had, make for a brilliant package that should be relatively easy to market. The potential of this includes investment into projects for transportation, and in building resorts and hotels. The tourism minister has admitted that, while the Diaspora is willing to come to Haiti, Haiti may not yet be ready for them.

PARAGRAPH 3-{}-:(Haiti the Beautiful - La Bonne nouvelle)
La Bonne Nouvelle is the platform through which Frère Joel Trimble, an evangelist living in Haiti for over three decades, touches the lives of many Haitians. Through the popular television show, Trimble spreads the message of Christ within Haiti, highlighting good Samaritans across the country and making their good deeds, a different kind of Haitian beauty, known. Besides its decidedly Christian topics, the show also shows off regional products and foods.
