Is the new Government in Haiti operating illegally?

If you believe the opposition, you will think so. According to Senator Francois Anick Joseph and with the support of many of his collegues, The current government just formed by Primer Minister Laurent Lamothe is inconstitutional and does not exist.

They are saying that there is no government in the country. Why?

Here is where the problem is. The Presidential Decree that was issued to form the new government on 2 April had some contradictions. Instead of announcing in the decree that some ministers resigned, instead it stated that the Cabinet of Ministers resigned. more »
