VIDEO: The candidates are meeting with the CEP

Here is a video of the various candidates who are on their way to meet with members of the CEP.

On Monday afternoon, November 16, 2015, the first 8 losing presidential candidates were present in the CEP office to participate in a closed door meeting for over two hours to decide and form an independent commission of inquiry to inquire and assess the alleged frauds affecting the integrity of the October 25, 2015 election and discuss matters of general interest. The commission was supposed to consist of five trustworthy members from credible sectors. However, after the meeting, the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) informed that it could not respond to the request of the candidates present at the meeting because formation of such commission is not recommended by the current Electoral Decree. However, the CEP has reiterated its commitment to do everything necessary for improving the electoral process.
