Here is a video of the ceremony of handling housing keys of the new ONA city to some police officers.

On Thursday, November 26, 2015, President Martelly in the presence of Prime Minister Evans Paul, Émmanuel Ménard, the Director General of the ONA, higher officials of the National Police and other dignitaries, inaugurated the Phase I of the Village Project "ONA-ville", in ONA-City in Morne-à-Cabris. It is a project which was originally initiated in 1997 under President Rene Preval as 'ONA Social Housing', commenced in 2003 under Aristide but became a fiasco, never completed. With the acquisition of the project by the government as housing of police, now ONA is planning to sell them with a credit facility (50 Crédit, as part of their 50th anniversary celebration) at an interest rate of 0.50% per month for the police. President Martelly also announced that within a short period, 400 housing units in the village Lumane Casimir will also be distributed to police officers, and he symbolically distributed keys to some 300 policemen. During the occasion Godson Orélus, the Director General of PNH said, since the creation of PNH, housing and its related security issues for the police personnel and their families were a big problem. The new housing is a significant milestone in the life of the Haitian police. From now on, they would be able to take care of their families.
