Desras Says CEP Irresponsible: Withdraws from Presidential Race

Ex-Senate President Simon Desras has withdrawn from the presidential race after the violent and fraudulent parliamentary elections.

He claims CEP did not operate with transparency, selecting BV members under a cloak of secrecy, training them at the eleventh hour. He also says CEP ignored agreed-to deadlines like posting voter lists as expected.

Desras is going to endorse Jude Celestin, expected to be in the run-off on December 27th.
